Uniworld - My cruise line of the week

Beautiful, luxurious, unique, ultra-all-inclusive, 5 + star river cruises.

I have a soft spot for Uniworld, being the first river cruise my husband and I travelled on. We cruised along the Danube from Budapest to Passau, with Vienna & Salzburg, and it was nothing short of amazing. The ship; The Beatrice, was stunning, (this was before they even became ultra-all-inclusive!) and the itinerary was my absolute favourite (so far). With diverse landscapes and cities still tainted from the atrocities of World War 2. Plus, beautiful villages to meander around, and grab some local delicacies, it was just memorable in every way.

The ships are small and intimate, with a relaxed and casual environment, carrying on average 150 passengers on European ships, and far less on worldwide ships.

Uniworlds ships are individually designed and styled with Red Carnation Boutique Hotels, using plush furnishings and lavish artwork.

With many amenities, which may include: a large sun deck with reclining chairs, spa & fitness rooms, a pool, jacuzzi, bars, lounges, a restaurant overlooking the river serving all your meals, and complimentary bikes, e-bikes & nordic sticks for independent exploration.

The food is unbelievable, with locally sourced ingredients brought from farms & markets to serve you extensive buffet breakfasts, lunches and full menu gourmet dinners that would match any fine dining restaurant. Plus – Unlimited regional fine wine, beer, and premium spirits are included.

Small group shore excursions are always included, with Quietvox headsets so you don’t have to be standing on top of your tour guide to hear what they’re saying!

Exclusive to Uniworld are cruise & rail itineraries, representing the most exciting and luxurious way to see the world as a pre or post river cruise experience. Travel on the Golden Eagle luxury trains and the Maharajas’ Express where you will enjoy a private cabin with ensuite bathroom, and fine dining with regional wines. See my river cruise page for this information.
