“Hi, I’m Lorraine McCowatt - your personal cruise consultant, based in Wokingham, Berkshire, England.

It’s taken a long while to build a website which shares with you everything I love about small ship & river cruise - But I think I’m finally there.

I love cruising, without even knowing I would - becoming a cruise specialist before stepping foot on a ship. Then once I did, it was everything I dreamed it would be.

There is very little I don’t know about cruising. Over 18 years of specialising in cruises - supported by extensive ongoing training, cruise-line hosted ship visits, and personal holidays - I have been on more than 30 ships, ranging from ocean mega-ships to intimate river cruises.

Earlier in my cruise career, I promoted and sold almost every cruise line available. Since COVID, however - and as my own travel style has evolved - I’ve become far more drawn to immersive, destination-focused cruising than waterslides and mass-market experiences. With my children now grown, I’ve refined my focus to what I genuinely love and believe in: small-ship and river cruising for solos, couples, and groups seeking more than just a holiday.
